This version enables information aggregation from on premise Oracle database systems and applications in the cloud. This allows organisations to create aggregated views of information from cloud application such as Salesforce.com and on premise enterprises applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite. These views are then presented to users through the innovative LookupPoint / Microsoft Office interface.
The new version of LookupPoint supports web services and rest based interfaces as data providers adding to the existing Oracle database, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL data providers. With this version organisations can build aggregated information views from any combination of providers.
This year the annual event takes place in San Francisco from October 2nd to 6th. The event provides a forum for Software and Service companies to connect with Oracle channel partners and with Oracle staff, and to learn about the latest Oracle programs, strategies, and cutting-edge technologies.
